About Classroomscreen
We make it easier for teachers and students to get the best out of each other.
Our story
As a science teacher in The Netherlands, Laurens Koppers had the hypothesis that his students were more engaged when they knew what was expected during class.
Like any good science teacher, he started experimenting on them with simple digital tools to make his instructions clearer. Not only did it work, other teachers asked to use it.
So Laurens built a simple website they could use with clear work symbols, a text box, and a timer. But the more they used it, the more help he needed to build on the valuable feedback the teachers were sharing.
Luckily, his neighbor Sebastiaan knew a thing or two about building secure and interactive web applications. The two good neighbors quickly found out they’d be even better colleagues, and they’ve been designing, improving, and redesigning, Classroomscreen ever since.

Our mission
This is for teachers. The Mrs Browns, Mr Toussaints, and Ms Bergströms of the world. Our way of giving back to those that gave us so much. This is for giving you more quality time with more students. Because you took the time to understand our needs. This is for matching your teaching style to all learning styles. Because you showed us how to think, and not what to think. This is for treating classrooms like the future of the world. Because you made our class so fun and so interesting that we didn’t realize how much we were learning. This is for teachers, today and tomorrow. Because what we learn is what we’ll become.
